This chapter contains the descriptions of the races and their reactions towards each other as known in the world. But there is something that concerns all the races.
Ever since the races started to meet each other did situations come up that could have led to reproduction between 2 members of different races. Mostly these situations have been unfruitful, but the chances differ between te different combinations. With some combinations that do regularly manage to produce crossbreeds the effect is often like that with the mule: the crossbreed is barren.
The only exception to this are the fey. Fey seem totally unaffected by the difficulties of extremely diminished fertility that people of the other races encounter. Probably due to this lack of fertility problems and the diversity of the fey do these couples exist a lot more then other mixed couples. The only remarkable thing is that the offspring of these parents always end up seeming of ‘pure’ breeding. Sometimes of the same race as one of it’s parents but also of something else then both parents. In these last cases there still seems to be a connection between the combination of races of the parents with the race of the child that came from them.
So in general is interracial procreation very difficult and together with how it sometimes does work causes this that the races don’t get completely mixed together and stay pure even when they nowadays live among each other so much.
The clothing styles differ hugely among the different races. At every race is a piece of text telling about their clothing styles. These texts are mostly correct when you look at their original areas but everywhere else it’s not uncommon for them to adapt for economical or practical reasons such as the local climate. Or just based upon personal preferences of course.
Because the giving of names often involves a lot of family tradition this stays more in it’s original form, but then variations to alter names a bit to the local style become quite regular then.
You should keep in mind that the names related to religions of earth don’t exist. There has been tried to keep these names, if they are used in a naming tradition that is borrowed from earth, out of the example names, because they don’t exist.
The origins of the cuniculs is very unclear, some time ago, compared to the old races very recently came the first messages of their sighting, this was probably soon after their creation. There are a couple of theories about it: an accident of some wizard, the action of some other weird figure that just thought that it was fun, the experiment of some god who happened to be in the mood to make a new race to see what happens.
Well this shows that whoever set this in motion is unclear, but it went somewhat like this: "Spontaniously" started some rabbits to evoluate every generation to the humanoid lifefrom what they were till very recently: just some mix between humanoids and rabbits who are mostly between 89cm and 1.01m in size. The still mostly behaved like rabbits, so breed like idiots, dig holes, having some fun chatting together and move away when overpopulation causes food shortages. Now and then they were caught by the other races, some of them where a bit more acitvelythen others and then they eat them. They are supposed to taste quite well, it’s just that it is regularly seen as unethically to eat an being that seems to have an intelligence, the tolvs are the least troubled by this. The dwarfs would love to see them completely exterminated in the area’s they live because they cause collapses in their tunnel systems with their digging for homes. Right from the start the dwarfs already disliked it that the cuniculs messed in "their" soil. But because it only seemed to get worse decided the dwarfs to go negotiate with them. This appeard to be a rater difficult mission because the cuniculs were totally not inclined to change anything about their way of life until a dwarf made a very desperate comment: "Can’t you go bug those ever partying tolvs who you now and then serve or something like that? There’s probably more space that is suitable for you." After the negotiations failed they still rememberd this comment. The dwarfs, annoyed because of the failure of the negotiations started to hunt down the cuniculs everywere they were in their way. The cuniculs noticing that they couldn’t do very much against them then began to plan their survival, starting with that comment of a desperate dwarf.
Due to the conflict with the dwarfs and the fact that they now live their live on a more fixed place they now live in homes above ground level. But because they are still quite attached to living in the soil they build their homes in blocks of soil kept together with a bunch of walls in which they dig their holes. These walls of these quite much as regular house loking structures have just one single round hole at the bottom as entrance, and sometimes one in the roof so they can on their own garden on top of their houses, the roots then give support to the soil.
Because the cuniculs are a relatively new race they don’t have their own language but use the languages spoken in the area’s they were raised.
cuniculs reach maturity already at the age of 8 and are usually dead by the time they reach their 25th birthday. Because this short livecycle they lack the time to learn a lot, this learning problem is what is the cause of the cunicul problem to learn sorcery. This lack of knowledge is in turn the cause of their distrust of sorcery. Just from the feary’s they tolerate the magic use, this is mainly caused by the fact that in conflicts with them they got the feeling that they would never run out of magic and therefore seemingly impossible for them to beat.
The cunicul community itself is divided by a very discriminating class system, it divides them all by the subrace they are and how pure in this subrace and other similar things. So are the flamish giants(on average about 20cm bigger) very much respected as guards because of their ability’s to defend an entrance on their own, because of this they are very often door guards together with a more harelike cunicul(on average about 10cm bigger) who make great messengers. In almost every other job are flamish giants not appreciated because they are a bit sluggish and are they constanly-getting comments about how annoying it is.
Also colourd patches, no colourd patches or seartain patch paterns matter in how somebody is ranked in society. Further has every job and family history effect on the level of somebody in society. Average values without the effects of special circumstances result to the following table:

The numbers show the relative rankings on the social ladder, the base scale is from 1 to 10, but other factors can bring it still a bit out of this range. So it is possible that a cunicul has longhair isn’t taken into the table, this because it is usually considered bad, it is usually considered annoying (although in cold area’s it is now and then a good thing). Now and then if the hair has been taken care of in a proper way it can also be used to increase the status, it are mostly damsels that try to turn this burden into something useful. Bards also use it now and then to make their appearance more eccentric.
The clothing of the cuniculs differs a lot depending on the class the cunicul is part of. The lowest classes hardly wear any cloths because their fur makes it mostly redundant. Cuniculs in a better position like to show this by showing they can afford it to spend money on clothing, and depending on their class it becomes increasingly more and more elaborate. The cuniculs have a preference for spacious clothing so their fur doesn’t get in the way. Knickerbockers and matching shirts are thus very popular, but also blouses with much fringe around the fastening. Because their clothes are almost never a necessity becomes this very obvious in the way it looks very decorational (and thin to not get it to warm),
The simple working people often wear aprons and things like that to prevent their fur to become dirty or damaged by their work. The soldiers wear clothes to indicate their function and to be recognizable at the battlefield. This clothing exists out of a poncho (the likes with which musketeers are often pictured), a belt to keep it in place and maybe some weapons or things like that on the belt.
Names are often in the style of how people generally call their domestic rabbit (except when they are named after mythical beings, famous persons or movie stars) like the rabbits out of Bambi or Watership down. A lot of names are based upon colour, behaviour or things on the ground like plants or nuts.
Example names masculine: Wummel, Stampertje, Witje, Drammer, Roffel, Hazel, Fiver, Bigwig, Silver, Pipkin, Dandelion, Frith, Blackavar, Vervain.
Feminine: Ebony, Witta, Blacky, Pluisje, witje, Snuitje, Knaagje, Holly, Blackberry, Clover, Kehaar, Hyzenthlay, Lucy.
Cuniculs are very interested in experimenting with this being as food. They look just like a carrot with a face that often as it appears try’s to talk to everything it sees in its neighbourhood. Most people find them funny. But it does happen that their laughter perishes suddenly.
They are a quite rare sight, even before the cuniculs took over. They where sometimes a festival attraction. Since the corrupt cunicul city guards try to confiscate them they vanished there. During the entire pre-cunicul history have there been reports of these geinwortels showing up on the strangest places. Since the cunicul arrival this has lessened, being on the cunicul menu might be a good reason.
Some people are very suspicious if it comes to geinwortels, they find it strange that something so notable can survive, and they suspect that they are the joke of some god and that you can better keep your distance from them. Who knows what kind of plan is behind them and what can happen to you if you get involved in it. So is in that context also suspected that whoever created the geinwortels is in conflict with the creator of the cuniculs. Nobody likes it if his pet race is high on somebody’s menu.
Geinwortels aren’t available for players to create their character.
The dwarfs have a short (usually between 1,29m and 1,51m) stocky build and are generally well muscled. They have an abundant hair growth that expresses itself visibly in long curly hairs and beards. Below their cloths it’s a light fur to keep the rocky chill away that now and then shows a bit on their hands.
Ever since the appearance of the cuniculs the dwarfs have turned their attention more and more inwards towards their own society. With the cunicul problem growing fast a considerable amount of dwarfs living above ground (mostly in the hills) moved into the deep tunnel systems. Furthermore they reinforced the entries and allow gradually decreasing numbers of outsiders to visit. Now that the chaotic cunicul government rules large parts of the outside world they only allow people in who work for the cuniculs, no further then the entrance portals of their systems for a bit of trade, but there isn’t much left of the trade though.
Suspicious or hopeful people believe that the dwarfs still keep close watch on the world above them to intervene in case it’s necessary. In this theory the dwarfs seen now and then roaming the world are spies send out front. Up till now nobody has been able to find any proof for this theory.
There’s a lot less known about the structure of the dwarf society, than about those of the other races, presumably because there is a lot less to recover about it above ground. And the stories of people who have been allowed to visit them below ground aren’t that much of help either. They speak of some sort of entrance portals, presumably the well-known entrances that are everywhere to be found in the mountains and hills. Because they all seemed to have no business at all in the entrance portals there’s nothing more about these to say than what people see nowadays during trade. The people who wrote these reports in the past were brought towards a big elevator system within the entrance portal. These elevators brought them according to their description ‘seemingly immeasurably deep into the ground, rapidly descending through the ink black shaft’. These elevators seemed big enough to move a couple of carts at once. After a while descending a surprising thing happened, the walls started to glow!! And shortly after they arrived at the bottom, upon stopping of the elevator the light dimmed a bit. Dazed by this decent, all the visitors where taken to a guest home. One of them described this journey the following way: "It was as if we were walking in a radiating ring because of all the stone around us radiating light while we passed through it on the way to our guest home. One of our guides told us it was a reaction of the stone upon our presence. The most peculiar was that now and then the colour changed from the whitish we saw first into red or green!!"
During the journey through the tunnels regularly lights appeared in the distance, when moved closer it turned out to be dwarfs on their way. In some tunnels wheel tracks were to be seen and felt worn out in the floor suggesting that there have to have ridden a lot of carts once, but no report mentions actually seeing them. There is however one report that mentions seeing a cart parked somewhere along the rout they travelled. It was a cart with relatively small iron wheels that had the cargo body quite close to the ground, but the draft animal was nowhere to be seen. Although there weren’t any carts seen passing through the tunnels, their size did seem to be geared to suit them, none of them really high and of variable width. The tunnels were of such a width that there was just enough space for such a cart and a pedestrian to pass each other or a multiple of that. The low ceiling of the tunnels didn’t seem a problem because it was compensated by the low cargo body of the carts so it would fit a normal load on them through the tunnels after all.
One of the reports tells about a meeting along the way. "After we had been walking for some time a dwarf, who had been coming towards us, approached one of our companions and greeted him very exuberantly, naming the dwarf they greeted and then they clasped each other and patted each other on the back. We were standing there waiting for them to finish their conversation so we could go on. It seemed to be a really interesting conversation based on the exuberant way of speaking and the big motions with which they accompanied their story, but unfortunately they spoke in a dwarfish dialect totally unknown to us so we couldn’t follow at all what they were talking about"
The guest homes seemed to be somewhat at the edge of something that, based on the little bit they have seen was probably an underground city. Around here there were more tunnels, some also a bit smaller then the cart. The most remarkable to be seen here was some kind of flowerbed on an intersection that was all the time lighted a bit. In this bed where a couple of strange plants that bore the most resemblance with the fly catching plants from above ground, but these seemed to be moving all the time.
When reaching the guest home, at last, at the end of a short, somewhat smaller tunnel they started to describe it in great detail: "Arriving at our residence we were let in by our companion. Here too the walls were shining light, although it seemed to diminish when we were all just took a first look around after entering. But then there was something wind up with a crank on a box on the wall after which a big wheel with paddles started to turn around over the table and the light started to shine as bright as ever again!!! Extremely fascinating how something that looks like a ventilator causes the light!!!"
All the reports tell at this point something about experimenting a bit with the lighting system and all at the end come to the conclusion that it has to do something with the movement. Next they all take the necessary rest to go experience many wonderful things again the next day.
The trips towards the different meetings are all quite similar to the last part of going towards the guest home except that the flowerbeds with the strange plants are seen more often. The last tunnel leading to the meeting hall is described again every time: "The last tunnel was different from all the others, it was very wide but without any cart tracks in the floor, the ceiling rose up quite quickly till it was 2 or 3 times the normal height. This tunnel seemed to be the equivalent of a lane in the world above because if the spacious design and the 2 rows of evenly spaced plant beds with the curious plants. But here there were also really different beautiful plants among them that didn’t look like they wanted to bite you. And this lane seemed to be lighted all the time with no apparent cause. The lane ended at a wall that at the top comes forward to fluently pass into the ceiling. In this wall is a great heavy double wooden door with 2 guards in front of it and two others constantly walking to and from. This wall was even more bright then the rest of the lane."
"When we approached, it turned out that the guards where informed about our coming and the door was opened to let us in into the most wonderful hall. A hall with which every king or god would be flattered to get something like that made for him. We were so stupefied by the hall at our entrance that we forgot all our manners and we have been standing there staring for sometime at all the decorations they had made in the walls by inlaying them with coloured glass and special stones and the edges marked with some opaque material that made them seem to step out of the wall. Some of the decorations had themes that seemed familiar to us from stories about the gods, others where presumably made in honour of some great dwarfs, complete with caption that, to our regret, we couldn’t read. Between the decorations where more of these fanlike constructions and along the edges of the hall, 10 guards were constantly walking their rounds. When we finally looked at our hosts we saw them look at us with some sort of proud satisfaction. And I still have the idea that we could have gotten much more out of these negotiations with the rulers if we hadn’t been admiring the so finely made optical decorations."
This was everything of interest that could be found in the reports and even though it lifts a tip of the veil that shrouds the life of the dwarfs it only makes one more curious about the questions that it raises.
None of the continents has a language in use in a religious centre that seems similar to that of the dwarfs. Still, on South-Knabosa(C3) a language is in use in the religious centres that doesn’t match that of any of the other ‘old’ races while it surely is as old. Because the dwarfs are the only old race that doesn’t have clearly left their language somewhere this raises the suspicion that the dwarfs have been there as the first. Also now and then findings turn up on South-Knabosa of old inhabitants that could be dwarfs. How it is possible that in the lore and legend of South-Knabosa there’s no more mentioning of the dwarfs then on the other continents is very unclear just like the unknown origins of the religious language.
It is suspected that in the underground realms of the dwarfs also has to be a religious centre because hardly any dwarfs come to the centres above ground and nobody can imagine that they would deal so differently with gods and religion that they wouldn’t need religious centres. And about parent languages and things like that down there is thus totally nothing known.
Because most dwarfs seen in the world are warriors cause that most dwarfs seen wear appropriate clothing for this, so being almost always in armour. But also when they are without their armour and the seldomly seen other dwarfs wear a lot of metal in the form of jewellery. Big heavy plates with pictures of gods or their family coat of arms or something like that. Also heavy and/or a lot of bracers on arms or legs are very common among them. Even belts complete made out of metal links. And much difference in the clothing styles among men and women can’t be seen.
A lot of dwarfs are seen in long skirts of heavy cloth. These are then made heavier with embroidered decorations with all kinds of metal wires or strips that form large patterns. Their shirts also show these decorations; these have been placed and designed in such way that they won’t get hidden behind necklaces or their lush hair.
Example names: Masculin: Adalardo, Angus, Briac, Cadman, Chadwick, Dermot, Driscoll, Farrell, Ferris, Keith, Marmaduke, Tadc, Tiernan, Tuathal, Vaughan.
Feminine: Aileen, Aithne, Brenna, Caitlin, Cuyler, Erlina, Gwynne, Isolde, Morgandy, Saraid, Shayla, Ula, Wynne.
The tolvs appeared for the first time on Schempa (C1) when they were created there by Rally. Because they were the first it is their original language that is in use there for religious purposes.
They are lightly build persons of average hight (usually between 1,67m and 193m) with pointy ears and straight hair. The growth of beard they have can just be formed into a line beard or moustache. Small upward curling moustache points are carefully grown and treated with appropriate pride by the owner.
As soon as the tolvs had nicely settled themstolvs on Schempa as the first signs of how their culture would develop started to emerge. It was one of flaunting and outdoing each other and of course jealousy of those who have more. This competition became more and more vicious with the blood has flowing plentifully and out of this came eventually some kind of upper class (nobility has such a strange ring to it in this context) that financed it’s position with taxes levied from the simple commoners, those family’s that had been knocked out of the competition prematurely. For these last tolvs to fulfill the need to brag and feel superior has been met by a kind of alternative pride. A pride to at least serve a more superior family and honor the gods more richly then those tolvs living in the neighboring area and hoping that the gods will reward them with a chance to gain a better position after all.
This backstabbing and pushing people back with which the upper class has managed to gain it’s position has become a way of doing things that you still see in a lot of things. The most obvious one is the jurisdiction that the upper class has created, and thus is very rarely applied to them. The jurisdiction and especially the punishments are quite unsubtle because corporal and capital punishment are things that are applied regularly, starting already at relatively minor offences, and with that they are regularly pronounced. Nevertheless isn’t much of this aggressive jurisdiction to be noticed in the society and does it seem to be a really quite, friendly and peaceful society. Punishments are performed out of sight within the walls of the juridical buildings and the population acts really friendly towards everybody. But in the meanwhile they will unobserved make sure that you aren’t a spy or a traitor or working yourstolvs up at their expense. Mysterious disappearances can be the result of this.
This rigorous jurisdiction and the rare use of it on the upper class leads to frequent (mis/ab)use of it by them to secure their position and rich exalted style of living. They do this by squelching any resistance prematurely. Something the commoners try to avoid by giving as little cause for as possible. The commoners also try really hard to match the exalted lifestyle of the upper class.
The relations between members of the upper class is different story, they to are extremely competitive and excel over each other, and they do this regularly by violent means. The cuniculs have done a great job copying this despite that it has with the mixing of the races and certainly with the arrival of the cuniculs become a lot less extreme. (Maybe because that they now want to show themstolvs superior then the cuniculs as a race in stead of constantly over each other) Nevertheless is their brutality in some things still recognizable such as for example how they threat cunicul prisoners of war. And there are regularly captures of new cuniculs in battles since the cuniculs have driven tolvs off their estates.
The tolvs used to live mostly in the woody environments and grew their crops on the open spaces. The general population living in small wooden houses with a lot of vegetation around it that made even the city’s have something of a forest worthy of their pride. Pride of the streets that look like beautiful stately avenues with threes that are richly in flower and plazas with an (almost) full foliar roof. The upper class on the contrary lives a bit apart in solid stone burgs in open orderly surrounding. If they have gardens then they usually look like those strictly ordered, full of low plants, ‘French’ gardens to ensure that potential attackers have to be visible from afar. This out of fear for any sort of attack (army, assassination) by their rivals.
With the arrival of the cuniculs lost the tolvs, just like much others, control over a lot of their land to the cuniculs. The parts they do control are mostly heavily forested and therefore less interesting to the cuniculs. Parts of the tolvs that used to live in the occupied territories have left those and moved deeper into the forest, supposedly towards the magical cities of the Fey. The tolvs that are hurt in their pride by this loss are attempting to regain their lands and so are there a lot of adventurers and resistance fighters roaming these territories. Also the elvish order of the paladins is still extremely active.
In territories the tolvs didn’t lose take, on the contrary, a reasonable conservative attitude towards the cuniculs. They reinforced and adapted their defensive constructions to the know cunicul strategy’s and repel possible attacks. But if the cuniculs are willing to live in peace then this seem also possible. (Although there do vanish more cuniculs in these ‘peaceful’ territories and that seems proportional with the amount of tolvs and vosjes that lives there, which can lead to tensions.)
The elite of the Tolvs wears clothes in a style similar to those clothes used in the tropic expeditions at the end of the 19th century. They wear big high boots where their pants end in, the pants of men are from the knee down very tight while around the upper leg it’s like a knickerbockers. Low shoes are worn even more, and then there are high (white) socks that connect with the tight part of the pants. They wear as upper clothing very neat formal jackets that are a very close fit and resemble some army uniform jackets; quite often corsets are worn under this to hide the belly. The jackets have a waistband that get’s even a bit pulled tight causing the jacket above it to stand out a bit. They regularly wear a kind of helmet, they are quite high and have a wide rim(tropics helmet), also other hats are worn, these resemble the helmets a bit but are a bit lower and a bit angular.
The women wear always the boots and wear more normal loosly fitting pants with leather belts. Above that an easy fitting blouse with long sleeves that end in tight cuffs. The collars are often quite loose and scarf’s are often worn to close the edges here. The females also wear helmets or hats that resemble those of the men but these are more round. They also now and then wear jackets and these look like loosely fitting versions of the jackets of the men.
The colour worn by both is usually quite light like kaki or the like, but not white (except for those socks). Sometimes they wear also other colours but not blue, and everything quite monotonous. The females wear a bit more often a bit more colour.
The lowest standing people often wear only wide knee-breeches, sometimes rolled up till the knees, for this purpose is a string in the lower brim. For women this is extended with a similar wide blouse or shirt with short sleeves and at the top a lace fastening of about 5 cm long. The clothes are usually quite colourless, mostly just the colour of the material it’s made from.
The style in clothes changes gradually from one extreme to the other when moving along the different social standings. Sometimes by having on special days clothes that resemble the expensive clothes of the noble more.
Example names, masculine: Boris, Vladimir, Fjodor, Ivan, Lesta, Sacha, Vadim, Yakov.
Feminine: Aksana, Cyzarine, Fayina, Irina, Kiska, Olga, Sonia, Tanya, Vania, Yeva, Zilya, Marina.
The names mostly have a Russian feeling to it.
This group exists out of a number of different subraces that are quite different of one another. They are all magical beings coming from different kinds of mydum. Mydum are the old mystical homes that are almost impossible to find without help because the fey protect these unique places and don’t want any uninvited visitors and are quite successful in fulfilling that wish. This makes it virtually impossible to get in even if you know where you should go. They will use all means to keep or lead you away.
The magical abilities and strengths differ greatly from one kind and habitat to another. The kind of landscape they live in (or originate from) is related to the magic they use and how the mydum looks like that they feel comfortable in. Because the fey are really closed concerning the myda there isn’t much know about how they look inside and how things function in there.
Besides the myda are there also cities that are more like how a city is expected to be and they have a more mixed population and that are (can be) much larger. In these cities you can do or arrange about everything that needs to be done with the fey that you can think of almost completely eliminating the need to visit a mydum.
In these cities is it that the culture of the fey shows itself in its widest diversity due to the different subspecies living together. The subraces live a bit mixed among each other; especially the bigger subraces and the smaller tend to live together in neighbourhoods and making use of each other’s qualities. The smaller live in parts of the buildings of the bigger that can’t be efficiently used by them and that are for example for a kabouter looks like a really nice home. And like that do great stout three’s that decorate the streets also regularly form a home for feeën. Other races can also live amongst them as long as they respect the customs and values of the fey. Regularly violating those things results in getting thrown out, and they do that in such a manner that you will never bother them again.
What the subraces have and do in common is the honouring of Lark that created them all around the same time on Genidias (C6). The subraces have gone along with each other quite well from the start. The tensions that did exist where usually due to differences in way of living or beliefs and those where solved by living a bit further apart. That’s also how the fey spread quite quickly over the world and didn’t bother other races with that. Their languages where all dialects of one language, the language they now use for honouring the gods and do their magic. The fey use their religious language a lot, also just among each other, this because myda seem to concentrate around bigger and smaller religious centres. In the real cities are also quite a number of temple complexes compared to other species, but of course not compared to the big continental ‘temple cities’. This is like this since the beginning of their time and thus their language has remained the same out of respect for the gods. Between the different kinds of fey is only a difference in accent audible.
4.5.1 Fairy's
Fairy’s look like tiny (they vary in size between 10 and when big 30 cm) slightly build people with insect(for example butterfly) wings with which they can fly. In comparison to the big humanoids do they make this difference quite well up with their magical powers. They are the strongest mages known to travel the world. And these powers come to them naturally and don’t need much training. There is even a rumour that they don’t need the gods to use magic!!. This rumour gets strengthened by their habit of paying less attention to the gods then any other of the (sub)races.
Still people suspect that they live even stronger beings inside the myda because people doubt if all the magical defence of them isn’t even a fee to much. This because otherwise there have to be really quite a number of them living in the myda and this while they tend to live a bit solitarily, o at least to isolate themsfaery’s from the others by living for example in a quite high tree in a city.
In the world around their cities and myda are fey often adventurer or court magician. This last one because the cuniculs have decided that despite their antipathy against magic the faery’s seemed to be a bit to capable with their magic. The didn’t dare to take on the faery’s to forbid their use of magic, so they have tried to integrate it. Not that all faery’s care about it because here also they have an air of superiority. This does fit with that they literally live on a higher level then the other (sub)races and only come down when it suits them. And that’s just when they need something. But there are enough faery’s in cities that fill their lives with other pursuits.
The have a preference to delicate and artisanal work in their occupation. Things like the making of jewelry and things like that, and their products then have an incredible amount of detail in the standards of the big humanoids.
Fairies are usually clothed in very practical clothing; craftsmen wear comfortable fitting protective clothes, like trousers and aprons. Others like court magicians wear very neat clothes. If they wear skirts then those have many underskirts to avoid any chance of people watching under it when they fly over. All fairies are dressed like this at parties and other official events. One characteristic comes back in all their clothes; it gives the wings enough room so they aren’t hampered by it when they fly.
Example names masculine: Gonor, Chlamor, Syful, Chomonas, Hepator,Cheiropod, Granuloc, Dysosto, Acrospir, Osteos, Intrahepator.
Feminine: Noroe, Herpa, Mydia, Trichona, Filis, Hetapi, Calvara, Rosaca, Ichta, Leukema, Tomysaia, Fascicula, Agenesisa, Blepharophi, Brachydaty.
4.5.2 Phouka
The name phouka is a generic term for a sertain type of fey that have as common quality that they have certain aspects of animals. Individual phouka are generally quite different from each other. There are a couple of qualities that they do often share. So are most phouka incorrigible pranksters. Whenever the situation arises do they get the almost uncontrollable urge to pull a prank.
Nobody knows exactly how the phouka came into existence. Phouka are generally born in a normal mortal family (but hardly among the fey) and seem to just take over qualities of their ‘parents’. This happens the most with the faerys, but there are plenty of examples among the other races. By the time normal people get into their puberty phouka start to change. During the next couple of years they gain the physical properties of their animal aspect. When this happens in cuniculs or vosjes this can result in really strange looking things. Because this happens during the puberty is something of the animal also to be seen in the size of the phouka. Phouka of smaller animals usually stay smaller and of slighter build then their original species while those of bigger animals get bigger. Their behaviour also changes as they get more insight in their situation. A child doesn’t have to resemble before the ‘transformation’ what he will become. In fact people usually see a glamour of the phouka showing it as they expect him to be as a normal person of it’s parents race. As long as somebody believes in it he will see it like that, but when there comes a reason why they would find the truth the spell is broken and they will see the phouka as it really is, in it’s halfform. For the phouka themsfaerys does this happen during their puberty. By the time they figure out what they are they can control the glamour themsfaerys. They can put it ‘off’ to show others their halfform, or they can just tell somebody what they really are.
Phouka also have a 3th form, this is the complete form of their animal aspect. This is a true transformation and not a glamour. Because of this can possessions and things like that not change with them, unless they are specially prepared to change. This requires an extensive special magical ritual that all phouka, after being thought how to perform it can do.
All phouka take the mental capacities from their animal aspect as soon as they find out what they are. Wolf phouka for example get the urge to have a social order, cat phouka are stubborn and independent and insect phouka usually get drawn to light. Their choice of profession and their magical skills often also seem to have a logical connection towards their animal aspect. Besides these properties and their desire to pull pranks are phouka totally free to behave as they want, this often being strongly influenced by their initial upbringing. The need to lie people believe phouka have is a fable that probably originates from the fact that phouka often treat the ‘truth’ quite loosely, letting it seem like they constantly lie.
The chance that a phouka get’s a phouka as a child is extremely small, even if it’s a pair of similar phouka. The results of such mating is often even more unpredictable then when two arbitrarily fey would mate.
Because of the way Phouka come into the world is it also that they learn the way they clothe from their parents, so there isn’t really a Phouka style. Except of course that it sometimes need a bit of adjustment to their animal characteristics so it still a comfortable fit, although clothes are also regularly used to hide them. If the parents of a Phouka have a problem with their child being Phouka, or just have a really rebellious kid then the way of clothing might become very opposed to them…
The names that Phouka get from their parents are of course in the style of their parents race and the area they live in. But after the discovery of their true nature they quite regularly take names that in some way resemble their animal species.
Some examples: Flidar(a)(buttfly, bee (dar)), Instor(insect of bug), Bugos(bug->insect), Catol(cat), Merel(blackbird), Fox, Kitty, Björn(bear).
4.5.3 Kabouters
The kabouters are generally not a race for the players to choose from, not in their most normal form. It is, however, possible if a character is made ordinary such as all others but that generally means they can a lot less than NPC kabouters. But these can, if them are in a good mood, work quite a lot of magic but they won’t do this without any problems on demand, only if they feel like it.
Kabouters are also a race where relatively little is know about, this because by their size, generally between 8 a 10 centimetres, makes it not really possible to go live among them. They look like small humans with round-laughing-cheeks, frequently with well cared for beards and coloured clothing among which their characteristic pointed hats.
In most of the cities live at least a couple of clans of them which occupy themsfaerys with several matters as clan. They prove to be excellent craftsman because clans have frequently their own workshop which they look after and produce excellent products there. The type of products is depends then of course on the speciality of the clan. It could be the repairing of pots and pans and all kinds of things is such as the gnomes from the tales to do, but also making shoes, durable articles or beer are not uncommon options. But also managing the traffic lights on a very busy junction in a city is something to be seen with some regularity.
In their free time kabouters go out with some regularity. Sometimes on their own to be away from all busyness of the clan often to go for a walk, to go watch some beautiful nature somewhere or something like that. Sometimes all together and then for example to a tavern sociably all together to fulfil their desire for beer. Sometimes they participate in something that is known as bouterdarten. This is darts where kabouters serve as dartarrow, here for do they wear specially extra reinforced pointed hats that can stick into the board.
Some carry these special pointed hats also more often because they feel themsfaerys more safely if they walking low on the ground, the sharp hard point protects them a bit from people or animals which would accidentally step on them.
Example names masculine: Krustar, Davos, Helmut, Ando, Libam, Romba, Migelaar, Stein, Drintel, Filip, Holler, Jiggel, Kappels, Oran, Raser, Snorhaar, Snorrel, Warbol, Wouter.
Feminine: Krista, Ista, Miekna, Driemke, Mops, Filina, Iggie, Jigla, Kaatje, Reske, Roetsie, Vlitta, Vlittie, Lenta, Lentelia.
4.5.4 Nymphs
These beings are beings of nature that protect and care for their environment. By and because of this caring for their environment do they also cause their environment to take care of them and feeding them. Cities are generally not seen as an attractive place to be and it are the exceptions that settle in other cities then those of the fey themsfaerys as they do now and then settle there. Young nymphs in their pubescence now and then get the urge to seek out the great numbers of other persons and the great attention they attract in cities. Usually an excursion to gain some ‘experience of life’ there.
Nymphs are tall(usually between 1,80m and 2,04m) persons who’s body’s could even make a greek statue jealous. Long, slim and an appropriate amount of muscle. Their skin colour is regularly very noticeable because there are subversion that are connected to their favourite kind of area to live in and their skin colour represends that environment. So forest nymphs are green, water nymphs blue etcetera.
They aren’t picky in their mates, differing from cuniculs to tree spirits. They are also now and again involved in abuse cases, this can then result in nymphs, or about any other fey being. The children can then find themsfaerys comfortable in totally different area’s then where they are born causing them to feel completely out of place and deeply miserable. This is generally also the reason why these beings end up going adventuring. Also the destruction of their home can lead to this.
Due to the differences that now and then occur do nymphs often not live in family groups. They do tend to group together a bit if they feel comfortable in the same kind of area. They seem to have a need for affection, especially the nymphs that left their mother soon because they didn’t feel at home there. It’s possible that the absence of their mother causes this and other things. Still are groups often made up of only men or women and are the women groups a bit bigger. These not mixed groups do tend to hang out with each other regularly.
Nymphs can, when they get startled, spontaneously change shape into something harmless like a flower, a tree, a water plant or a little fish. They always change into the same shape as long as it does fit the environment and that it’s uninteresting for most beings. They can’t change back till the ‘threat’ that startled them in the first place is long gone (> hour).
Nymphs prefer to wear no clothing at all, but often still do to avoid that their appearance doesn’t distract others too much. This annoys them a bit if they can’t even talk with somebody because the only get stared at. But the clothes they do wear are very light and thin and closely following their body causing it to hardly hide anything. There are also nymphs that find their appearance cause so many problems that they only hide themselves in very demurely stylish clothes that cover the body very well.
Names of nymphs are in the same style as you can find them in the mythologies. Some examples, feminine: Liriopé, Dryope, Loti, Calypso, Maia, Hegetoria, Zeuxippe, Albunea, Bidadari, Mena, Thalia, Carna, Marica, Oharka, Acantha.
Masculin: Scamander , Narcissus, Rhodus , Chloris, Chariclo, Albunuis, Carnaos, Carnos.
This means generally that feminine names end on vowels such as i, e or a. Mens names end on o, os, is, uis, aos.
4.5.4 Satyrs
Satyrs are between 1,61m and 1,79m big beings of nature that protect and care for their environment. By and because of this caring for their environment do they also cause their environment to take care of them and feeding them. Cities are generally not seen as an attractive place to be but most city dwellers aren’t that happy with them due to their tendency to be a bit manipulative. And also because they often worship a version of Jabodo that is mostly about fertility and the rituals they use for their worshipping are by some considered as inappropriate behaviour and ‘immoral’. The satyrs say that these people are just afraid that their children will decide to participate and that they don’t want that because they know what happens because they have been there themsfaerys once. It are generally the exceptions that settle in other cities then those of the fey themsfaerys as they do now and then settle there. Young satyrs in their pubescence now and then get the urge to admire the world, for an excursion to gain some ‘experience of life’. It has a bit of a resemblance to the ‘wanderlust’ such as the kender of Dragonlance have it, but then with a big L.
There are subversion that are connected to their favourite kind of area to live in. Satyrs usually don’t live in all kinds of area’s but restrict themsfaerys to those accessible to a goat, so not in the water or to close to the crater of a volcano and things like that. They aren’t picky in their mates, differing from cuniculs to tree spirits.
The satyrs usually live a big solitary, but then also in groups in the same area so they can visit each other now and then. This they do for social activities and maybe to fool a stranger a bit. And of course just for the fun of hanging out together, for example to tell tales. Or to discuss some species of the other sex, or to share bragging tales about how they pulled that nasty prank on somebody, sometimes almost literally if they for example try to convince somebody to be more intimate then they would normally want to be. And one thing can lead to another, in this case children, these children would very likely feel themsfaerys somewhere totally different at home then their mother and feel completely out of place where they live and with that totally miserable. And this is something that regularly happens when one of the parents isn’t a satyr. It can even happen with parents that aren’t of the same satyr subspecies. These children go quite often soon into the world looking for a place the feels like a home.
Satyrs prefer to wear no clothes at all and find their coarse hair on their lower bodies is enough. They do adapt a bit when they live in towns by wearing loincloths, and the females also a top. Satyrs from colder areas have also more and longer hair. If they still travel somewhere where it gets to cold then they wear woollen coats or vests.
The names of satyrs are in the style like you can find them in the different mythologies except that here are also feminine versions. Some examples:
Masculine: Mysaryas, Pylosmas, Marsilion, Marsyas, Ampelos, Amymone, Prapus, Silenus.
Feminine: Amyda, Miladone, Ljeschi.
Halflings are a people that usually prefer to do everything at an easy pace. They look like normal people, that didn’t become very big(usually between 97cm and 1,13m) and have an ink black skin and bright red lips. They don’t have much body hair, except their black frizzy hair that they keep hidden mostly. The men can also grow beards of this, but this stays a layer, sometimes a very dense layer, but with a thickness of no more then a centimetre. They also have big hairy flatfeet, without them a halfling isn’t a halfling. They try to enjoying life and do not becoming happy from people who try to goad them to do more. Still that is what has happened a lot for a long time by the other races, goading the halflings. Nowadays there are a lot of places where these things go differently because the cuniculs turned the old social systems upside down. This often turned the halflings into supervisors that had to manage, and that preferably over members of the bigger races. Although this is something that can be done from a lazy chair do they find the cuniculs still annoying for this. Because also they don’t let them really do things which and the way they like it. And because cunicul meat is something that they secretly appreciate quite well.
In the cities on … (C2), the continent where Vrazat and Mogoe created the halflings are things arranged a bit differently. Here the working days are a bit shorter, but is there also a long siesta, but wouldn’t you do that on a continent that’s so hot and by it’s positioning has such long days. Still doesn’t this seems to be a reason to do less labour. In some way their working methods seem to be designed for that break of a couple of hours and make use of it. The halflings don’t have much preferences in kinds of jobs to do, though the brewing of all kinds of drinks is quite popular, both as a profession and as a hobby to do at home. This way the halflings produce the most famous beer of the whole world in Hobtobstad (C2S4).
Even though their way of working seems to show a lot of planning, their way of building seems to suggest just the opposite. It’s like the builders seem to always build a bit strange due to the heath or something. This because their city design is chaotic and shows absolutely no planning at all.
Government buildings are spread all over, regularly there are also a couple outside the city walls. This seems to happen more often if you see the loops they now and then make in the city walls to get all the important buildings protected again. Not a single road is completely straight, most of them small dark twisting alleys that seem like they try to build every single piece of land. This resulting in houses that are small and shallow but really high and that preferably extend a bit upwards to get some room on a floor. And every single place still not completely filled can you find a road shrine or a little real temple or so, and also these not all together as happens in most cities, no nicely spread. Most of them are dedicated to Vrazat and Mogoe though, their creators and in all these small temples do they use the ancient language of the halflings for their religious business. The language as they received it during their creation.
The clothing of the Halflings reflects their origin, the desert. Their clothes seem to be formed out of cloths that have been put on in which they completely disappear, including the head because they wear turban like hats. It’s evidentially made to keep out the sand.
If they come in less sandy environments then their clothing becomes a bit more open but the hats stay, sometimes replaced by tied up hair in the same form.
Example names masculine: Aban, Adham, Amid, Asadel, Azhar, Badr, Bishr, Essam, Fadil, Faris, Fouad, Ghassan, Haddad, Halim, Hudhayfah, Ihsan, Jabir, Jumah, Kedar, Khaldoon, Khuzaymah, Latif, Maimun, Mash’al, Muntasir, Nawfal, Najib, Omran, Qudamah, Rafiq, Riyad, Sa’id, Samir, Subhi, Suhayb, Talal, Thaqib, Ubayy, Utbah, Wafiq, Yasir, Zaim, Zuhair.

Gnomes look like little people(usually between 1,03m and 1,29m), with a light skin and blonde or red hair. Especially the beards have regularly a reddish shine. They are just of a slighter build then humans. Hair and beards are well cared for, but they regularly also look kind of chaotic, sometimes even as the famous Einstein look.
The most common kind of gnomes live on (or come from) the continent that’s still being formed. It’s at the junction of about every big fracture in the worlds surface, due to this it’s a very geologically active area regularly hit by earthquakes and volcano eruptions. The gnomes find this a marvellous area because there are a lot of energy sources to run their machines. Here they test their latest inventions and find the building materials for their new projects. People also call this group also fire-gnomes although people generally mean these gnomes when they just talk about gnomes, just because they are a lot more present in the world.
The other group of gnomes live on IJ-i-sage(C5), these gnomes differ in a couple of things greatly compared to the previous group, the fire-gnomes. This because these gnomes are called Ice-gnomes due to the cold and icy continent they live on. They are slightly smaller then the fire-gnomes. These gnomes have found a way to use could for a lot of their pursuits. The fact that they aren’t widely spread is due to the few places that have enough could for them to work with.
The gnomes have been created by Hesoldé and Ogrus on IJ-i-sage. After a lot of generations was their original continent mostly populated. In that time happened a big disaster that shook and changed the world. This was the last great tremor in the history of shifting of the continents. At this tremor came a number of gigantic volcanoes to eruption at the fractures between the continents. At that time originated there most of what is now known as Gnomania (C7). This event has been visible all over the world due to the reddish glow that has been on the horizon for days. This phenomenon caused in a part of the gnomes such curiosity that they set up expeditions to find out what had happened. When the expeditions returned with the stories about the newly found land did many gnomes emigrate there to experiment with the heath sources there (and not to live in the cold any longer). This has become the first generation of fire-gnomes.
On IJ-i-sage was the religious life fully developed at the time of this last big tremor and thus was using the original gnomish language. But it took quite some generations on Gnomania before the whole continent was kind of developed and the temple complexes had been build. In the mean time did the language change from the already more modern gnomish they spoke when they arrived at IJ-i-sage under influence of all the new things they encountered and found out to do and such. Because of this is the religious language on Gnomania the language they used when the organized religion got on its feet again and therefore substantially different form that used on IJ-i-sage.
The gnomes almost always appear cheerful and enthusiastic. This attitude can be seen in the enthusiastic way in which they approach every project and mostly also finish it with great success. Under influence of this (sometimes overly) enthusiastic behaviour do they often forget to take others into account, especially if those others aren’t gnomes. It isn’t completely clear if this really happens as accidental as they like to let it seem to be. Especially in cases like experimenting with cuniculs as power source is it hard to see something like that as an accident. The cuniculs just don’t believe this at all, they already get furious at the thought of something like that happening alone. But there hasn’t been any evidence yet to prove that things like that are really happening. And the same doubtful thing is accidentally only hitting the forces that are supposed to be allied, and even that seems to have happened. Also the fact that they generally work extremely ordered and thought-out and are proud of that way of working strengthens the doubt that such big ‘mistakes’ can really happen by accident. And this thought-out ordered behaviour of the gnomes also shows in their style of building. This exists out of a really nice straight composition that shows a great feeling for style and that has hardly any curves. Instead it uses a lot of corners and in such a way that almost everything becomes symmetrical. Their cities are because of this always really orderly and easily passable. And this you can also see in the gnomish districts in for example cunicul cities because their district is also build by their principles and causing a contrast with the rest of the city with that.
The gnomes use the cuniculs in their cooperation to get their new invention plans financed and to be able to test them and to see them applied on a large scale and are convinced they get the most profit out of this deal. The cuniculs on the other hand get because of this the services of gnomish inventions at their disposal such as printing presses and air balloons to advertise for their many festivals by throwing flyers out. The gnomes also supply them with a certain regularity with war machines and means of transportation to go to battle with.
This cooperation and the fact that the gnomes aren’t that big either makes that they are quite high on the social ladder in cunicul cities. Still do they get accommodated at the edge of the town to keep it safe and to give them the space for their projects.
The most prominent piece of clothing of almost all gnomes is the big leather vest that’s completely covert in pockets and small parts and things like that. They also have short leather aprons that they wear when they go to work and that they mostly use to carry tools.
The difference between the fire and ice gnomes does show in the other parts of their clothing.
Ice gnomes wear warm clothing with lots of fur and also wool. Fur shoes, fur edges on the vests. Thick woollen jumper below the vest and leather pants with the furry side turned inside.
Fire gnomes on the other hand regularly wear no upper clothing or otherwise brightly coloured blouses/shirts and supple leather pants.
The names of gnomes are build up out of 3 parts. The first part is their own first name, the next is their last name that they inherit from their mother, and as third comes their mothers first name. Usually the names are connected together, sometimes connected with – or ‘ in between. With some combinations of letters does this happen more often to keep the pronunciation correctly. Once or twice it happens that all the parts are written sepperatly.
Some examples feminine: Icy, Vura, Bolta, Nij, Moersa, Spij(ka), Rustifni, Scrala, Nayla, Rada.
Masculine: Bolter, Vuri(d), Nijp, Mort(el), Moert, Rustif, Titin, Scrav, Cluffenbolsh, Valtos, Slurod.
Last names ice : Icid, Ucid.
Last names fire : Vur, Vaur
Last names both: Staum, Culkrac(h), Nalis, Tian, Sgots, Vlav, Pnom.
This race is a humanoid version of the normal fox and is about as big as the cuniculs(between 88cm and 1,03m). Because of this they can enter cunicul hole’s to hunt. Now the cuniculs live inside city walls mostly are they usually safe, this is a very big disappointment to the foxes, although they now and then manage to sneak in and then find the cuniculs unprotected.
The vosjes love to tear the cuniculs apart and eat them right after catching and eating them raw, they are an exception with this because other races usually want to prepare them in special ways. It is also a very popular romantic thing among foxes to catch a cunicul and offer it to the partner as a gift. A very typical and/or funny thing is that almost everybody else gets suspicious as soon as a vos participates in a game with money or property at stake, they seems to win a bit to often.
The vosjes appeared shortly after the first sightings of the cuniculs and have a similar evolutionary stages as the cuniculs, evolving from foxes to what they are now in a couple of generations. They lack, like the cuniculs and other "new" races no language of their own but the language they learned from the humanoids around them. In contrast to the older races they also appeared right away on all the continents.
When the cuniculs moved into the city’s did that mean for the foxes that most of their prey disappeard and this forced them to also move more towards the city’s and to provide in a more ‘civilized’ way for their food. They ended up there between the bigger races because the cuniculs keep them already as much as possible out of their way and they really don’t like the idea of having vosjes closeby.
Because of the relatively fast and recent arrival and the mingling in the cities isn’t there a real own culture of the vosjes. They join the Tsami quite often in the worshiping of Wramo and Tsen because they share them as their creator. They don’t really bond much with others, this because the nature of the fox with its tendancy to go hunting alone is still quite present.
Their nature is also quite clearly present in their preferences for jobs, they are remarkably well represented in jobs like detective jobs, privately in cunicul ruled teritories but also in normal policework where the cuniculs don’t have control about it. They can in jobs like that fullfill their urge for the hunt. They also do that now and then by doing a bit more risky jobs, so they often like the life of crime, mercenary work in the legal and less legal variants such as being a bodyguard or an assasin. But they also don’t have much problems with the jobs less popular with the people around you such as being a process-server or taxman. If they work on fairs and marktes they are usually in the entertainment, and then mostly doing something that makes optimal use of their dexterity, or in the trading buisness.
Because of their fur do vosjes lack the want for clothes, but they do adapt a bit when they live in a town, mostly because that gives more chance for better jobs. They clothe themselves then mostly in a flimsy vests and breeches or once or twice in a skirt.
Example names masculine: Reinaard, Nallin, Furk, Halian, Nalren, Nodin, Yuma, Yakecan, Delsin.
Feminine : Nirarda, Shill, Alona, Dena, Kiona, Mansi, Shako, Tacincala, Tarsha, Winema, Zaltana.
It was a rough wake up this morning; his mother shaking him awake and asking what he did last night to Blanca. While being tortured by a headache he had answered here that he knew nothing about it. The last thing he remembered was Siegmar arriving for his party with a drinking game. His mother had looked sad "Your accused of dishonouring Blanca. Pray that something good will come up. Prepare yourself".
With that she had left. He had gathered his belongings and went to sit in the back room with a decanter of water.
Soon the buzz in the front room stopped and he heard the whole company coming towards him. It where his parents and aunts, Blanca’s parents and aunts and Blanca’s uncle Ybert, the villages mayor. There was some feet shuffling before his father broke the silence. "You know the accusations? All witnesses that have seen you leave last night say you were so intoxicated anything is possible. Do you have something to say for yourself?"
He had risen when they came in and listened with his head hanging. Before his answer he looked at everybody "I can’t bring anything up in my defence" his eyes went down a moment before continuing. "I disclaim my families name and offer everything of value" pointing to a pouch he had put on the table "as compensation and will leave the village within an hour" He saw a tear appear in the eye’s of his parents, but also a shimmer of pride that he did what had to be done. Blanca’s family looked at each other and then here mother took the pouch and she, the aunts and Ybert left the house in silence.
The Tsami were created in three subspecies, the Mogota, Pakordin and the Fiorek.Nowadays there also exists about all kinds of mixes of these you can imagine. They are the product of a project of Wramo an Tsen to also bring a race onto the world in the time the first races were being created by other gods. They first appeard on North-Knabosa (C5). The different subspecies appeard on different spots on the continent. You can still recognize these places a bit in the landscape because of some jokes made during the creation, the clearest example of this is the Gobbobos(C4G1).
The Tsami have, when the different subspecies first met, had to search for a powerbalance because they are all in their own ways about as strong as the other two and they share a sense of honor that made them to stubborn to give in to eachother. This standoff has been there for several generations in which everything slowly settled down and became an accepted situation. When that had happened they could grow into a unity by being able to fill gaps in each others labour markes while at peace because their talents complete each other. Because of this the 3 subspecies got mixed and now it isn’t always as clear as it was to what subspecies somebody belongs to.
The culture of the Tsami nowadays isn’t really one. The three cultures of the subspecies are still recognizable but have also started to mingle with each other in the time they have lived together. The things they all have in common is that they all have a certain to suborness leading sense of honour and a reverence for the gods that created them Wramo and Tsen.
The Mogota are small(usually between 1,12m and 1,36m) slightly build beings who’s skin colours vary a bit from one to another but are all discribable by greenish. They are originally really clan orriented, everything in servive of the clan and the believe that this will be rewarded after death. Because of this they are almost without fear of dying. The clan is beeing led by a group of ‘elders’, these are the ones that have proven themstolvs to be the smartes and cleverst and thus gained trust to keep doing this and gained a group of people who support him. This strong structure and their number is what gave them their power, used to the clan structure they also cooperated well in battle. Because their lack of personal physical strenght was also part of their strategy terroristic warfare like suicide attacks etc.
The Pakordin are about average size(usually between 1,66m and 1,94m), sturdy and angulary build green beings. Their culture is all about beiing succesfull and the families honour. Failure is something to avoid at almost any cast. Because succes depends on where you start out and succes of a family member reflects on the others do they have a great bond within their family and their ancestors. This results in extensive passingrituals, ancestorworship, standing up for eachother, but also in the case of a big disgrace by repudiation. The families are led by the eldest of them as long that individual can handle it. This culture of proving oneself was what gave them both their strongest and weakest points during the conflict. This because it makes them go to the very limits of their capacities to get things doen, but also makes them vulnerable to get challenged into inpossible situations.
The Fiorek are big(usually between 2,15m and 2,57m) heavy build, somewhat chubby greygeenish beings. They live usually in solitairy households that avoid further contact as much as possible. Because of this on themstolvs depending way of life are they a stronge and quite intelligent people just because you need to be that to survive without much support. This where also the things that made them strong in the conflict, but at the other side did their solitairy tendancy also give them their weakness because they hadn’t had much love for some form of organisation before and now weren’t used to being in one to fight.
The Tsami have all about the same dark dense hair. The men wear it mostly short. The females wear it quite often long and in braids, but this is less common among the Mogota.
The eyes on the other hand vary from light blue hue’s to dark brown, this despite it’s illogical from human perspective.
The Tsami are really fond of cunicul meat, they claim that it’s the best food of the whole world and this isn’t really something the cuniculs can appreciate. Since the cuniculs came to power is it also quite fast that there is a price on the head of a Tsami, especially the bigger among thiem because the smaller are usually with enough to testify for eachother that they are innocent. This is because the cuniculs threath a Tsami at the least suspicion of being involved in the case already as if he is convicted and will offer big rewards for bringing in a ‘suspect’ are prove of it’s demise.
The Pakordin men are clothes in tight pants that are short or come till just past the knees and have at the front (about at the hip bones) 2 buttons where in between is a lid. These lids are often decorated with patterns, these patterns can be used to recognize tribes, and the abundance of the decoration shows the importance of the wearer among his clan. This is further complemented with simple blouses and a (leather) vest, sometimes also decorated with patterns. If they travel to colder areas then they wear longer slightly less tight pants that further resemble their usual pants and sweaters, and if it becomes really cold then they wear lined pants and leather coats.
The women wear brightly coloured wide dresses with many many underskirts and the dresses create a huge décolleté (Like Fiona in Shrek), lady’s of higher standing have lace along the rims.
Mogota are dressed quite boringly, they do also wear the lederhosen like the Pakordin but theirs are less tight and mostly the long models. Further they wear simple blouses and rarely vests.
The females wear simple dresses, without a décolleté worth mentioning or clothes that are alike to those of the men.
The Fiorek wear, in contrast to the other Tsami, those hunter hats with a quill (Like Robbin Hood in the Disney movie and in ‘men in tights’) as extra detail in the style as the Pakordin have. Because of their less tight family relations are there always differences noticeable in the patterns on the lid, the bigger the difference, the farther their distance in the family trees.
Their women also wear clothes comparable to those of the Pakordin, but wear also in addition to that lace caps that aren’t very big, but relatively high and with big upstanding brims.
The names of the Tsami are Germanic; some appear mostly in one of the sub races, like names of kings for example. You often don’t want to be associated with a king of an other sub race. Other names on the other hand are found throughout all groups of Tsami.
